COVID-19 - KEEPING YOU SAFE

Since reopening post covid I've undergone some changes to help keep you safe and help stop the spread of COVID-19

I have successfully completed a course on 'Control of Cross-infection in a Post-Covid-19 World' which was recommended by FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapies) and I have carried out risk assessments.

I have always had a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene but things will be a little different when you come for your appointment, here's a little insight of what to expect.

I will be......

Monitoring my health and taking my temperature daily, if I do develop any symptoms before your appointment, I will be in contact with you immediately to re-schedule your appointment - Just to let you know, so as not to cause any unnecessary worry, I do have a slight cough this has been ongoing over the past few years and is believed to be allergy related. 

I will be taking a Covid-19 Rapid Lateral Flow self test every few days.

 

Washing my hands or using hand sanitiser prior, during and post your appointment.

 

Maintaining social distancing before and after your treatment.

 

Following the government guidelines on the use of personal protective equipment, I will be wearing a face visor and a face covering. 

 

Displaying the NHS Covid-19 QR code, so it’s available for you to scan.

 

Disinfecting all non-porous materials between clients, such as the massage couch, equipment used, door handles etc that you have any contact with. 

 

Using a fogging sanitizing machine the end of each day to deep clean all surfaces.

 

As always supplying all porous materials such as towels, sarongs, pillowcases etc new, clean and freshly washed at a high temperatures for each client.

 

Ventilating the treatment room, before, after and when possible during your appointment.

 

I will be asking you to......

Fill in a Consultation form (sent via email) so all contact and health details are correct and up to date and also to read and sign my new Covid-19 Consultation form. 

 

Scan the NHS Covid-19 QR code at each appointment, to help stop the spread of coronavirus. 

 

When possible to avoid handling cash. Please pay via bank transfer prior to your appointment, details will be sent in your confirmation email.

Contact me and re-schedule if you are feeling unwell and have any symptoms of Covid-19, or if any person in your household/bubble shows symptoms and is self-isolating. I will not be charging for treatments that have to be cancelled and re-scheduled as a result of Covid-19 but please as always give as much notice as possible, to allow me time to fill your slot.

Please bring your own face covering it currently mandatory to wear one, (hopefully this will be changing soon) if you do forget your mask, I will have a supply of disposable masks available.

Arrive at your exact appointment time, this will allow clients to leave without meeting other clients and also allow me plenty of time for disinfecting and cleaning between sessions.

Please leave coats, bags and shoes in the area provided.

Use hand sanitiser upon arrival and as you leave.

Cover your mouth with a tissue (which will be available) or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze and put the used tissue in the provided bin straight away and then sanitiser your hands.

If you develop signs, symptoms of Covid-19 within 14 days, please contact me immediately.

I appreciate that some of these new procedures may cause some inconvenience but my main priority is health & safety of all my clients, their families, friends, myself and of course not spreading Covid-19. 

This is a learning curve for me so please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve my service and make you feel safer.
